You are most certainly right about next gen development games being expensive, and certainly alot of publishers will go multiplat. However, wouldn't a publisher who has found success on the handheld market be more willing to support its console counterpart? Ex: Monster Hunder 3DS  + Wii U or Dragon Quest X Wii + 3DS remakes? Or maybe it's just a coincidence I'm not sure :(
