Can someone explain why I can't play Virtual Console games on the Wii U Gamepad?

Lazy. Because it seems like a bit of a no brainer, so why add it later when it seems pefectly doable now? Kind of like the feeling peole get concerning DLC, I guess.

So you really think they just decided to sit on their asses instead of work?

Might it have something to do with the fact they already have a new Wii U VC planned so it doesn't really make sense to reprogram all the emulators twice for the Wii U?  Or to open up a potential Wii based exploit into the Wii U security when, again, a new VC for Wii U is in development that won't have a potentially exploitable Wii to Wii U bridge?

Do you realize just how many factors are involved that could explain why this feature is not yet implemented?  If you do, then why suggest it's just laziness?
