Can someone explain why I can't play Virtual Console games on the Wii U Gamepad?

Wouldn't worry too much...nintendo direct forums seem to be a bigger deal to nintendo than e3 these days and they have them all the time.

I give it 6 months to a year (for an update) but, while I admit playing vc games on the pad would be pretty cool, it's not a deal breaker...didn't even give it the slightest thought til I saw this thread.

I took Nintendo less than 4 months to get the VC going on the 3DS.  So I suspect it probably won't take any longer than that for the Wii U VC.
