From a Northern European perspective, untinted by religious ties; Israel are no better than their rivals, that much is clear. While there is rather broad support in the US for almost everything Israel does, there is a very different tone and opinion in most of Europe. That doesn't matter, of course, since Europeans are stupid and their opinons on matters don't count...
