Ima go out on a limb and say that harada thought the Wii brand was for kiddies and casuals, thus simplified gameplay made sense, in which case, lolololololol.

Ima go out on a limb and say that Harada saw the sales of the 3DS version of Tekken 6 and thought 'I don’t want this repeated on the Wii U'.  So he wanted to play to the strengths of the Wii U, which is the tablet, but Nintendo was not having that, and thus the game is going to be sent out to die, again.

3DS version of Tekken 6 really *was* sent out to die, don't know what went on there. They already have touch-screen controls, so making it a retardified version of the game would have gotten them nothing but ridicule.

Thats the thing and why I reference the launch of Street Fighter 4 on the 3DS (which harada also mentioned) on my replay to Areym.  They knew where they screwed up for that game (Tekken Prime) and did not want to make the same mistake again.
