Looks good, I wasn't aware that they were doing a full remake of this absolutely titanic sized game. This RPG probably has the most valuable content packed into it out of any I have ever played. While DQ8 on PS2 is around the same length, it has much less valuable content. This is because it is also a much slower moving game due to everything being spread out on overly huge maps. DQ8 might only actually be about 1/3 to 1/2 as big as DQ7 when you cut out that aspect.

So DQ7 is the biggest DQ game content-wise by quite a bit. Although, I am excluding 9 and 10 due to the unique nature of their content. DQ9 has an additional section of the game which includes a few hundred independent quests, mostly occurring after the main story is conplete. DQ9 also contains unlimited numbers of randomly generated dungeons on top of the existing main story dungeons. So DQ9 could theoretically go on forever, but the main story is about 50 hours long. DQ10 is an MMORPG, and in my experience with WoW, they are purely about grinding, an all othe content is just tacked on to keep the customer interested in grinding enough to keep paying for the game again and again, month after month.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
