@OP: When I was younger it was a lot of fun to go a few rounds with that friend who owned the "other" system. But as a grown-up video game enthusiast, I must own all systems. If you're a movie buff you watch all movies. If you're a foodie you test out all the restaurants. If you're a video game hobbyist you play all the games. If anything, we should reward people for moving outside their comfort zones, and exposing themselves to different kinds of video games, published for different kinds of consoles.
