One new console enters into the old market and competes with the old competitors.

It was no different with the 360 last generation.

people aren't upgrading to a WII u from a ps3/360 more than likely.. it isn't a successor to the HD consoles.. it's nintendo's jump into the HD market with hardware slightly more powerful than the HD consoles.. and a tablet controller that is meant to bring dual screen gaming to consoles..
