I hope it's the most powerful of the three next gen consoles, but at the same time, easier to code for, so we don't see shoddy ports again, lol.

It will be fine. They wont make the same mistake twice. They know what they need to do now. We'll all find out soon.

Yeah that's what they said about the Vita too....

What's that suppose to mean? Did they launch a handheld system that is selling at a loss and is hard to code for? Don't be that guy.

One of PSP's biggest flaws was it tried to mimic console gaming.  While this worked at first it eventually stagnated.  The Vita is doing the same thing with a high price point like the PS3's launch with no titles that appeals to a mass amount of people.  They learned nothing from the PSP or the PS3 launch looking at the Vita.  That is what that meant.

except the PSP was trying to run PS2 games on hardware that couldn't run PS2 games.. in fact it was receiving hybrid Mobile/PS2 port like games.. that didn't have much of the PS2 games features..

Vita is doing the opposite.. vita is basically trying to be a PS3 in your pocket.. which is different than a PSP, which was tryin to offer console like graphics on pocket and that's all.. Vita has PSN behind it.. and hardware somewhere between Wii and PS3.. and is capable of running games almost on par with ps3.. like need for speed most wanted.. open world.. visuals almost on par with ps3 version.. but less traffic/online players(although still the same core game)..
