Even the inferior (despite the superior controls) Wii version of Black Ops sold 1.2 millions, roughly a tenth of the Xbox360 version. The Wii U of Black Ops 2 will get a much bigger part of this cake in the future.

I think you don't get the point. It think everyone would be surprised if a blockbuster movie played in old cinemas with a antic movie projector would attract millions of people (even so the Seats are more comfortable than in the shiny new cinemas)  :)

If even the inferior Wii version managed to sold that much copies, despite the fact the many gamers in this generation had two consoles, a Wii+Xbox360 or a Wii+PS3, the CoD sales for the Wii U will obviously reach the sales level of the PS3/Xbox360 CoD games in the future.
