If God could just fix everything for you then what would be the point of faith and belief? A lot of people today demand a lot of things from God and it surprises me a whole bunch that people think they can demand something from a being that is infinitly greater than themselves. Takes a lot of arrogance if you ask me. |
So it takes a lot of arrogance to demand something from God, but making assumptions on "how it all works" regarding God (as you said earlier in your post) is just fine? What kind of doublethink is this? |
Yeah I was thinking that. I also thought that if god gives us the oppiortunity to do things for ourself then how does that differ to if there is no god. Also I have the opportunity to go and kill 100 people right now, i wont, but has god diven me that opportunity?
