You can play NSMBU like you used to. Stylus and touchscreen use is only required for additional features. If you don't like these features, you can ignore them and you'll still have as much game as before. Well, actually more now, because there are also new modes that can be played with classic controls.

As long as they do. I hate being forced to play a certain way. Other than Skyward Sword and a few other games it has annoyed me. May as well toss my copy of The Conduit.

But surely traditional controllers force you to play a certain way? Actually I found that games like The Conduit and GoldenEye (Wii) had an obscene amount of customization when it came to controller schemes.

Goldeneye did, but what did The Conduit have? Were you actually able to play with anything other than motion control? I never saw it.

Oh, sorry. I meant the ability to customize the motion controls. All the different variations. I must have spent 30 minutes tweaking all the options on the GoldenEye controls to get them perfect :) I guess what I was trying to say is that some of the Wii game gave you a lot of options within the motion control setup, sometimes more options than traditional controllers. But I guess if someone doesn't like motion controls to begin with, it's a moot point.
