No. PS3 was also in the lead throughout last year. It even ended up winning(according to VgChartz data)
This year the PS3 lead pre-holidays is even bigger. There is only 1 big bundle this year for 360 and that is Halo 4.(Last year they had Modern Warfare 3 and gears 3)

PS3 will easily win the year in both VgChartz data and official shipment numbers.

Uhm, did PS3 win last year in holiday sales? I thought 360 beat them in that last quarter.
