Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Captain Falcon, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Kirby, Fox McCloud and Ness.

First time playing smash, that was all I knew. Had a vague idea who Samus and Kirby were. The others might as well have been Turkish politicians.

How could you not know Donkey Kong?
