MS didn't buy Rare for their IPs. Rare didn't own the rights to most of their biggest games. Microsoft bought them for their talent.

RARE owns Killer Instinct, Banjo Kazooie, Perfect Dark, Conker, and others IPs, I dont remember. M$ could have a great hit if they allow KI3 to made, but not happening, because they want to do KINECT stuff FUCK YEAH! LMAO

That's pretty much my point. Killer Instinct was the best-seller of that group, and it came out at the height of the 1 v 1 fighter craze. It's sequel sold a fraction of that, though. Perfect Dark is the only other game they own that's worth a damn, and their team made sure that didn't last long.
