I call those smudges and the top screen gets two lines on the left and right (from the bottom screen liner that sticks up). I can still see my Swapnote writings on the bottom screen unless I wipe it off. I wonder if the 3DS XL gets those smudges too. Anyways, you can ignore my post consider I know you were just bsing about people bitching about systems.
