In truth, Halo 4 is probably the best looking FPS on console(s) as well as best looking 360 title, but definitely not ahead of top PC titles. Aesthetics or otherwise.

No, I stand by what I said. Its a personal preference. when I look at the best looking PC games; Crysis, Battlefield, Witcher 2 I can honestly say that I find Halo 4 more stunning. The same way I would say Mario Galaxy trumps many HD platformers in the visuals department.

There is no contradiction. In the OP I said "This is not up for dispute, I'm just stating my opinion lol".... By this I mean my opinion is not up for dispute, not that my opinion is fact. We're talking about something looking "good", not assessing how technically demanding it is or how realistic. Its subjective, not quantifiable, so no arguement can really be had, although maybe some pretty screens/vids may sway opinions. My intention with the post was to have people express their own opinion on what games have blown them away the most. Instead people are trying to force their personal opinions down others throats and denouncing anyone who disagree's with them, which is as pointless as arguing who's girlfriend looks better lol
