1) opinion, but I think it looks far better than the others. Also, in most entertainment centers, you have more depth vs height. So it will fit upright where my PS3 slim won't in my center.
2) Power brick separate means it can be made as one console for any region and the only thing needed to be changed out per box is the power cord since that will match the power requirements of that nation. Just makes it cheaper and easier than having the PS3s style where it has to be a super PSU to handle any power range of all nations.
3) Looks great, just gonna look dirty all the time. Should of been matte.
4) Its a high cost part and they obviously cut costs on battery size (would also add more weight). However, if you notice it has an easily openable battery compartment. I bet we'll see that utilized. Personally, 3-5hrs is more than enough for me I would think. obviously it would be nice if it were significantly more, but with a 6" screen chugging along and rumble it will go down. I will likely turn off rumble as I always do, so I should always get the 5ish hrs. Then I will make sure it always ends up back on the cradle. Finally, it has a cord that if people are smart they'll set its charging stand near their couch. A) it makes sense if this is utilized a lot for nongaming TV / media related stuff and B) it would be in range to just plug into gamepad as you're using it too.
5) I think the exclusive NSMBU/ZombiU and extra content of some ports make it worth it... plus the potentially better overall experience with gamepad. But of course this is back to opinions.
