Yes I have LOL. I know your refferring to the big battles. To be honest the character models on the bosses are amazing. But everything around it ( or usually when they appear there is nothing else in frame ) looks basic. Its not scale in the sense of oter games. Although big, it never feels big. Mostly due to the scenery being non existant and the controls being linear on movements. The sheer scale of the landscapes in Halo 4 is not matced by anything in GOW3. Add to that actually. Nothing in GOW3 remotely comes close to the scale of that massive Forerunner interior part. Mission 3 I think. THAT is scale. Then you battle on it. Its funny because COD or Killzone for example have these so called big ticket moments in them. Scripted or explosions. Halo 4 rips those big ticket moments up 10 or more times throughout the campaign and rewrites just what scale is for games. Previous Halos are also dwarfed. |
Says a lot about how much you know about graphics in killzone 3 really.
I can't remember a single breathtaking "explosive" moment in killzone 3, because it doesn't exist. The entire game looks good with maybe the exception of the beginning.
