Its the same way I dont see sandbox games such as Halo 4 and Crysis 2 on consoles being nearly as impressive as a linear game due to the fact that time is invested into other things than small small details such as particles, textures and what-not. I've played most of the games you listed as well and Uncharted 3 along with God of War 3 is just on a whole other level. Be it fixed camera or linear corridors => They allow for the most subtle details that are otherwise ignored when playing a more open game. |
