But then again, this is a little too much. XBox 720 + Kinect 2.0 + Tablet? That sounds REALLY expensive when bundled together. What about the R&D costs for all of this? I can't see them spending all this money developing these things and selling them separately, but I can't see them making a $600 bundle either. Something's gotta give.

Maybe the idea that is its more of a secondary device than an integerated device (like gamepad) makes more sense? I mean the gamepad forced Nintendo to cut costs in other areas to put out a ~$300 device. If MS has a more advanced tablet plus more powerful console... it'll likely cost A LOT more and put it out of the realm of being competitive for the mass consumer.
