Ah, I see. To avoid being wrong, you are now expanding the argument to include about 25 different phones and calling them "one smartphone".

Does that mean I won? Because in any world where someone considers the 5.5" Note II the same smartphone as the Galaxy S3 Mini (even though the phones share literally NOTHING in common outside of the operating system, which isn't even made by Samsung), I'm pretty sure that means I won.

What you're doing is akin to saying that the PS3 has outsold the Xbox 360, except you're separating Xbox 360 Slim sales from other 360 sales while adding PS2 sales to the PS3 total.

It's completely fucking illogical.

Why is it illogical the people that brag about iPhone sales usually talk about more then one model.  The Note II and S3 might be different phones but they both carry the Galaxy name.  Not only does the Galaxy sell more because it has more diverse lineup it also sells more because it is available by more cell phone carriers both in the US and overseas.
