In my opinion, Darksiders is an ok franchise that takes the best elements from the best games (including God of War and Zelda). Its trying to work off of the god of wars mythology concept, except using the Christian method. The first game was badly paced and I find it hard to believe that the second game will fare any better after seeing reviews. I doubt it sets any standards or should be seen as anything more than just a good game.
