Try to imagine than Nintendo are anorexic. They have an entirely different perspective so for them what may seem like a huge massive incredible deal just seems like nothing to everyone who doesn't share that perspective.
Nintendo: I'll eat those 6 grapes and I promise you I won't even throw them up later.
Rest of us: Bah that's just 6 grapes it is hardly a big deal.
Nintendo: Honestly I'm not even hungry and I'm eating them just because you made such a big deal about it. Look I've been bending over backwards to try to please you but you don't even acknowledge my huge effort right here, see?! These are 6 grapes and they are massive.
So there you have it, an idiots guide to understanding Nintendo. Tongue firmly in cheek.
