Whatever crissindahouse says, I'm pretty sure some PC games are overtracked in Germany since we start tracking them. No doubt PC gaming is much bigger here (percentage wise).
Anno 2070 for example: http://www.gamestrend.de/articles/v/1ce99ed3-d945-4447-8214-9ea605887b15/Anno-2070---Knackt-die-100-000
100k in 4 weeks. We have it at 200k for the same time period.
I expect the same happened here. Well we'll see it at the end of the month when the BIU makes a press release with their sales awards.

Yeah, and I hear Anno is pretty damn big in Germany. So to think Farming Simulator did 2 times as much in only a week is almost crazy!

i just checked the "biu" numbers barozi was talking about, they give prices for over 100k, 200k, 500k and 1m in sales for the year. anno got the price for over 200k sales and it was released on 17th of november so it sold 200k-500k in 6 weeks, i think vgchartz is way closer to the real anno sales as the site he posted is.
"ANNO 2070 (Ubisoft), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3(Activision) und The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim (Zenimax Europe Ltd.) haben sich jeweils über 200.000-mal auf dieser Plattform verkauft und erhalten dafür einen BIU Sales Award in Platin."
