I was a mobile developer. More and more companies were asking for Android version of their apps, and considering the way you develop for Android you can actually do sneaky business things to get more money from clients, charge per screen dpi, charge per phone, etc. Now as far as user apps go, I'm not too sure as I haven't had to build any on Android and charge the users for it.
