If you get deep into that you will see that, "iluminati = freemason = satanists". They adore demons (Baphomet, Orus, etc), have fixation with numerology, want moral and family values to disappear, want to rule the world, want decay for everyone, and have lots of symbolism. They already control most of the world, like USA and other major economical powers; and major industries, like the music and movie industries. You can see lots of this symbols in many movies and music video clips, and they are trying to put them as some kind of subliminal message. I find it worrisome that may be entering also the gaming industry. Assassins Creed uses lots of that symbols for the good guys, DAFAQ!!!, and the bad guys are the Catholics (who are basically the ones defending most of the things those other dudes want to disappear), which makes me think that maybe this obscure organization influenced the making of the game.
They already control most of the world, but considering their rule is based on money, if someone has lots money they may not be able to influence him/her. That is why they do not control all the world yet. Capitalism is the weapon they use because they have lots of cash, but it can also be used against them if someone has enough.
There is lot of interesting and scary info out there if you really want to look at it. Also I recommend, that you dont talk about this people. It is always good to know this kind of things, but it is not good if they know you are convinced they exist. They are "a well known secret", and they can act with so much freedom because most people dont want to recognize their existance, why? I dunno.
