So Harvest Moon is Animal Crossing?

There are a lot of similarities, even more now with this new game features like character customization.

But it's more of a sjrpg with a farm setting. You aim to succeed here, there are more direction to your acts and there's story. Animal Crossing is more like seinfeld - a game about nothing. A Harvest Moon festival scene is like "The Godfather" next to Animal Crossing "story".
