Even though Apple deserves the bulk of the credit for the explosion of the tablet business, I think they need to seriously consider an "iPad Pro" with a touchpad keyboard.
Merging a home computer with a tablet was going to happen eventually, especially if you can maintain the portability of a tablet but add a workable keyboard option (which Surface does) and a USB slot makes it functional as a mini-laptop too (at least for the average person).
