I love how people come in here and post without even reading the topic. If you said any of the three current gen systems (Wii, 360, PS3) you need to put down the fanboy Kool-Aid.

The PS2 is the obvious example, since it's going into its eighth year on the market. You'd have to say that the PSP is next, entering its fourth year and with sluggish software sales. All of the other platforms look to have a good three or more years of strong sales still ahead of them.

It's also hard to believe that some people still believe that the Wii will be discontinued before the 360 and PS3, despite the fact that this would break the trend of five consecutive generations. EVERY market-leading console has always seen a longer lifespan than its competitors. The 2600, NES, SNES, Playstation, and PS2 all were supported longer than younger, more powerful competitors (to cite a few examples: Colecovision, Intellivision, Master System, PC Engine/Turbographix, Megadrive/Genesis, Sega CD/32X, Saturn, N64, Dreamcast, Gamecube, XBox). And that's not even getting into handhelds, where the same rules hold true...
