They are talking about revenue and not unit sales. Otherwise PS2 shipped 1.2m or more last quarter, more then double from 1st quarter. Doesnt make any sense really on this market. In what world PS2 outshipped 360 in last quarter? |
So are you saying the Sony shipped over 5 million PS3 in the last two quarters??? Almost matching the 2011 performance (5.5m).
It's just harder to believe... It's more easy to believe PS2 shipped 1.5-2.0m in the last two quarter... down form 2.6m (2011).

I think Sony shipped 5.1m in last two quarters. But there will be huge decline YOY in 4th quarter if they dont release 199$ bundle for Black Friday. This year Sony has shipped 7 million and sales are 6.4m acording to VGZ. Sony overship in 3rd quarter, so if sales are not good enough then PS3 may just ship 5-5.5m in last quarter.

There is that rumor $199 PS3 with the inFamous and Uncharted dual packs that look legit for Black Friday.
