You do realize that the God of War franchise has sold more than Gears of War, right? Or are you moving the goalposts to "average sold per game"? In that case, Gears has an advantage - there are hardly any other major first-party games on the 360.

Spin-offs don't count.

The PSP games aren't spin offs. They are part of the God of War story. But hey, you wouldn't know. You got Microsofts you know what in your mouth.

If you include GOW 1-3 + the 2 PSP games thats still less sold then the 3 Gears games.

Listen, I know 360 gamers took away everything that Sony fans held dear in the glory PS2 days, but your decision privelages have been revoked the minute you backed the least selling console this generation. Sure in the PS2 days you were free to give God of War whatever acroynm you wished, but to the victor go the spoils. Gears is a better selling franchise so more people would naturally recognize Marcus before they recognize Kratos. Sorry.

Its just a matter of convincing the Sony fans that it is perfetcly within our right to steal your things as long as PS3 is last place :)

I've had enough of your childish comments. Both of you. I"m ending this right now.

God of War franchise sales = 19.91million http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=God+of+War
Gears of War franchise sales = 18.10million http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=gears+of+war

God of War came out first, God of War sold more. GOW =  God of War.
