The new big three battle of MS, Google, and Apple is the most exiting thing in electronics right now, IMO. With MS supporting games, with Xbox and a rejuvenated PC platform they have a massive lead in my book. Congrats to my neighbors in Redmond. |
I am much older and have seen many operating systems and products launch, and I agree! This is an excieting time again. It's been a while since hardware and software have both come together to cause excieting new developments.
The Natural User Interface that Microsoft is working on is really excieting. Now we have computers that can finally speak to and have them listen. We have been promised that for about 20 years but it never quite delivered. I still think it needs work - but it is workable. And with Kinect / movement interfacing - new projection system and virtual glasses. It is an excieting time in technology again.
It's cool to see what is not just on the horizion, but coming into be as we watch.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned. Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon! |
