You could see aliens flying in the distance - but if you get to close they will attack you. Plus the lighting from you energy pulses in the weapons and such. It was great. Course I think Halo 4 will be even better. But at the time, way back two whole years ago, it was quite good.

Bungie has never pushed Halo to its limit in either graphics or story. 

Halo 2 came pretty close to the limits of the original Xbox.

Halo 2 was great but PGR and Forza were the graphics bar on the Xbox. Ninja Gaiden Black was one of the best id ever seen on my original Xbox before I sold it.
