The average person that has that kind of problem with math doesn't shop alone.
And even if they did, they know it will come with tax anyway so they aren't exactly surprised when the cost of 5 items at the register is a little higher than the total cost on the stikcers. Besides, if they are adding up several items to get a total before they get to teh register, they can't be that bad at math.
