In Japan, it's skewed because of how few 360s there are in Japan. It's seen as the super hardcore console, so very few outside of big gamers or otaku own one. Those people tend to buy more games and also tend to be multi-console owners. |
Yes I know this. Xbox is not popular in Japan. I don't understand why Sony is being talked about this at all. If it is your favorite console that is cool, your choice. But it's not a successful console in any way. I love my PS3 because of all the exclusives but at the end of the days I still know it is a failure and I'm not going to make a bunch of lame excuses on why it isn't Yes it will finish 2nd this generation on units sold, but it will also finish last for the most profits, and lost way too much market to bothe Nintendo and Microsoft. The Wii is by far my least favorite console of all time that I've owned but it I'm not going to make excuses either, it was the clear winner in pretty much every category this generation like it or not. The thing pretty much printed money. All these arguments on who sold the most units, who had the best tie ratio blah blah does not determine success to a company. That is more of a bragging right. The only thing I get out of the OP is that people bought more games for X360 than the wii and PS3. This was pretty much already known as X360 dominates multiplatform sales. They may not have the most exlclusives but they still sell more games and that shows people like the 360 so it ensure future customers for microsoft seeing as they are satisfied.
