I actually remember Iwata saying that and everybody laughed at him. I recall someone saying he expects better from nintendo. Now look where we are. That is why nintendo are still here after all these years. They have the ability to sense a threat before it approaches.

Nintendo has a really incredible and competent marketing group. I am a huge fna of their strategies, how it ties to product development and their analysis of the competition and envyronment. It is why the company has achieved sucess. Their marketing is incredible.

Sony on the other hand is the exact oposite. I like Sony but their marketing is complete crap and the whole department needs to be fired and a new staff hired. Its dragging them down to bankrupcy.

As for the Vita, it already died as far as i can see. I cant see how the dreamcast couldnt get out of the negativity spiral but the Vita would will less games. There is no one in their right mind starting new projects for the Vita at this time. I dont expect the system to react much in the holidays given the upcoming line-up of the 3DS and the launch of the Wii U. And from there onwards, its just gonna be Sony dragging the thing until they decide to kill it.

Dont think a price cut will save it either because next year there wont be any games for it (virtually). Its only gonna be those alternative Sony games like the interesting "tear it" or whatever its called. I dont think that one is a system seller though quite a good game. PSO2 is the only high profile title i see coming for it, even though its coming out on the PC aswell. Killzone maybe? Its very difficult to see any hope inthe system with these.
