Since those divisions are profitable Sony would likely get the best sale from them...unless potential buyers are looking to offer bad deals considering Sony's financial situation. A big sale could provide Sony the money they need to bolster their rising market opportunities, but it just seems like a bad idea all around. American investors are just fickle and willing to pounce on the first sign of weakness. Sony just needs to stick with the new route Kaz has been taking: seal up money leaks through reduction, steam plow through new profitable sectors, and make tailored investments for future gain.

Kaz said something about returning to profit this year right? Perhaps he said that far too soon not taking into consideration the investments needing to be made, the Yen remaining high, and their credit backlash by an unforgiving market.
