Glad to see they liked it, at least it seems that way from the verdict. I'm not going to read the text, I don't want any spoilers at all.

the review is relatively safe to read. No spoiler like comments that I can think of. She details the general synopsis of the story that we have heard a million times, and mostly concentrates on detailing the tone the game gives instead of any particular events.

I am a Level 5 fan and have been for years, I love a few Ghibli films so this is a match made in heaven, the likes we haven't seen since FF and Disney merged on Kingdom Hearts. I really hope it does well enough to become a series of it's own.

I hope it's the start of an ongoing collaboration as well. I don't neccesarily want a Ni No Kuni 2, it would be even better to have different worlds just as each Ghibli movie is different.
I recently watched Castle in the sky again. That setting, as well as Howls moving castle and Nausicaa are perfect for rpgs.

I don't know the full ins and outs of the plot seeing as I haven't played it yet but...I would like to see them keep the same world, maybe only slightly changing appearance from game to game, and instead bring in different characters with varying storylines. I am thinking more the lines of Narnia, where its the same universe but through different eyes its an entirely different experience. THis also solves any continuity issues of having to unlearn abilities with each successive game, and makes it a relearning experience for everyone to any new mechanics they may add.

I like the idea of the game series being about the World itself and how the characters interact within it. The game is called Ni no Kuni anyway which from my understanding means "A Different World".
