I wander if it's overtracking by VGC (of the X360). But I often guess that and later come to realize how accurate VGC was once again.

Ps3 leads 360 by 35k this week. That isn't exactly small. PS3 leads have been huge since the FIFA 13 launch.(and I guess the Super Slim)

Yeah the PS3 lead is decreasing as the holidays are nearing. It is only expected. I expect this weeks numbers to show another increase for 360 and PS3 should be flat. On Assassin's Creed 3 week though, PS3 should get a boost that hopefully negates some of that Halo 4 boost on 360.
