As for the rage directed at Wainwright, what's new? I'm sure it was pretty gross but it's very difficult to feel sorry for her in any of this. Is the abuse really any worse than other areas of journalism? I'm thinking of football fans, Christopher Nolan fans, the Daily Mail website etc. Not that that excuses it, I just don't know whether it's specific to the games industry, although i didn't see any of the comments as her twitter account is now closed. And why aren't there more comments on this? |
That's very true actually. I tend not to notice stuff like that as I don't frequent those sites, but I suppose it does happen in all walks of life.
