Did you live under a rock?
1. The 32gb is for savegames and small eShop/wiiware style games.
2. its not a harddrive its flash memory.
3. Its better than making the console even more expensive and giving you a 500gb HDD that Nintendo bought in (lets say) june installed in the consoles in september and sold to you in november for the price nintendo had to pay for the HDD in june. (which was more expensive than now)
4. It is £249.99 without game and without second controller NOT 309!!! The black "TOP" model has NintendoLand which has several games inside. Its more than the shitty Wii Sports collection the Wii had.
5. You are not supposed to buy 2 controllers (gamepads). You are supposed to use Wiimotes etc. so additional controllers cost NOTHING when you already have Wiimotes and nunchucks or they cost whatever Wiimote and nunchucks cost (hint: Ebay £30) and not £109
Seriously I am not from the UK but even I know that the WiiU with 2 controllers (1x GamePad 1x Pro Controller) and ZombiU costs £ 319.99. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 costs £27.95 and all the other games like New Super Mario U cost £39.99 with free UK and even free EU delivery!
So what exactly was your problem now? Its not Nintendo's fault when you buy at shitty shops that have everything overpriced.
P.S. 4 Wiimotes with nunchucks/classic controllers and 2 Gamepads = possible 6 player multiplayer. Nintendo Land which is bundled with the black WiiU version is 5 player multiplayer already. Nintendo said that later games will support two GamePads(tablets) so then we should be able to have 6 player multiplayer.
