I don't see a problem, what I don't have time for to play now, I'll play at the Steam Summer sale.
And trade in prices are high this time of year. I'll play the game first I don't think is a keeper, and trade it in for half price off the next game after a couple of weeks.
It would be better for publishers to space releases out, but they rather go with online passes and dlc to combat sales and trade-ins. Fine with me, hardly ever play online, rarely care about dlc. Gaming is cheaper then ever.
