When you watch that, the original statement, how he presents his view in a perfectly mild and sensitive way, this backlash and how this was twisted in media makes me very upset. He chose his words very well, in a clear and intelligent manner that should make no one angry. Only because of the witch hunt state of liberal America did Mitt Romney have to distance himself from this statement even though in reality he most likely shares the same view.
Just look at the first few posts in this thread, being very trigger happy and saying all sorts of nasty stuff against him and against religion (until some of us came to defend this view and eventually in this thread we actually got a balanced strength of opinions discussing this).
