The thing that always got me about the how acomplishment/trophy scheme is the amount of HDD space that the trophys would take up.

If a trophy was awarded for getting 100 headshots with an AK47, would the trophy video end up showing all 100 headshots? Because that could end up being long and harddrive-heavy. Or, if uploaded, it could take awhile, and corrupted when switching off the console, or the internet connection jacks in. Hell, it could even put pressure on the people who are stuck with bandwidth limits.

A better idea would be to have 2 systems in place. Have both accomplishments and trophys. Each game can have 1,000 points worth of accomplishments (like achievements) and these would be the 100 headshot things. Trophies would be for big moments, and there are only five in a game. Like a minute clip of doing "Mile High Club" on Veteran in CoD4.

Hell, whilst we are on the subject of features Sony could include, how about a montage maker? So, if the user has a keyboard plugged in, they can just hit a button to begin recording, and another to stop the recording (straight to HDD). And then the user can use a special icon in the video section to open a basic editor (just have options for cuttign down clips, mergin clips, sound and text overlays). Then an upload button, which could temporarily upload the montages for 30 days, or something. Enough time for the creator to download the video and upload it elsewhere.
