Yea i finished BF3 in a sitting at friend's house when it came out. There were some good missions here and there. The one where you are running around sneaking in a city during night time was quite good. The sniping parts were not bad either but rest of it was just more like a checklist as to what call of duty does. Felt really average. This from the looks of it on Giant Bomb's quicklook seems bit worse.

Have you played Black Ops 1. They literally copied it but just couldn't make anyone playing the game care. I don't know. Everyone hates COD on the internetz but personally they are much more fun and thought out in all their aspects (Single player, Multiplayer and Spec Ops/Zombies) than their competitors.
