Those are all just gimmicks. I have yet to see a Wii U game that uses the Gamepad and makes me think "this really makes the game better/more fun".

I've played ZombiU and Nintendo Land and I can tell you the GamePad brings something new to the table. I think gimmick is the wrong word. The GamePad functions exactly as it is adverstised. There's no bait and switch here, I promise.
