No way in hell should they ditch the PlayStation name but ditching numbers is a valid option. PlayStation 4 would sound great and consumers would be fine with just another number. They sure love the iPhone1-5.
But at the same time a new sub name could help the system seem fresh. I'd sure love a PlayStation Orbis.
