The holiday sales lift kicks in later in Japan, but in turn extends a couple of weeks beyond christmas.

hmm... i guess before vgc nerfed all their data i payed more attention to WW and now i just occasionally look at famisu/media crate.  i knew the peak week was after xmas but i guess i didn't think about their lift starting later.  will we see the lift start in november then?
