That's not how economy and marketing works. People have a finite amount of money they can spend. You can work on marketing to convince people to spend a greater share of their money on your products than they normally would, and the most effective way to maximize sales is marketing where the sale takes place. But whatever you do, there's a limit to what people can spend.

Problem 1 : If the console is bought to a shameless reseller on ebay, you obviously can't do anything to drive sales of games and accessories or do any effective marketing at all.

Problem 2 : If the reseller forces people to buy at higher than the price you set, that's that much money people won't be able to spend on games and accessories.

No matter how you turn this, money that goes into resellers' pocket is money that can't into your business' pocket, so you are definitely losing if you don't fight that.
